As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.

NorthWestern Mental Health is seeking an experienced mental health clinician who has knowledge around working with consumers who use family violence and experience in project work for this vital Project Officer role. The successful applicant will join a team of experienced Family Violence Advisors, Forensic Clinical Specialists and others across NWMH to shape the NWMH response to consumers who use family violence.

Your Contribution

  • Experience in clinical mental health
  • An understanding of consumers who use family violence
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and autonomously
  • A Passion for driving new practice
  • Capacity to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for self and for team members
  • A current Victorian Driver’s License, and ongoing ability to use this form of transport
