Your new team

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Social Work team in the Emergency Department. This position is required for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 1-9pm.

Your success in this role, will be in your ability to:

The successful applicant will have sound communication skills and demonstrable experience of effective working relationships within interdisciplinary teams, patients and their families/ loved ones.

The Social Work Department has a well-established supervision program and supports ongoing professional development for all staff. Only applications that have addressed the Essential and Desirable Key Selection criteria will be considered.

  • You are able to deliver excellent social work patient focused clinical care to patients and their carers
  • You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • You have the experience and skills to mentor and supervise junior staff

  • Be part of and contribute to a dynamic and progressive Social Work team
  • Provide clinical excellence and social work service in the Emergency Department
