About Victorian Centre of Excellence in Eating Disorders (CEED)

CEED is a state-wide program of Victoria’s specialist public health system, managed by NorthWestern Mental Health under the Royal Melbourne Hospital. CEED’s role is to support the development of a comprehensive stepped system of care to improvement accessibility and treatment outcomes for people experiencing eating disorders, their families, supports and communities. This encompasses engagement with all service levels, and aspects of care through education and training, clinical secondary case consultation, clinical resource development and service development support.

Your new team:

At CEED you will find an enthusiastic, friendly, professional group of clinicians of a range of disciplines. The team values multiple perspectives, curiosity, compassion and learning. We work both autonomously and as part of a team in embedding great care for people experiencing eating disorders and their supports throughout Victoria’s mental health service.

Your new role:

  • Utilise your clinical experience and skills to provide secondary case consultation to AMHS/CAMHS clinicians and care teams working with people experiencing eating disorders and their families/supports
  • Utilise and enhance your workforce capability building skills to plan, implement and review training in eating disorders to meet the workforce capability needs of community AMHS / CAMHS clinicians and services
  • As part of a team, utilise and learn knowledge translation and implementation science skills to undertake service development projects with specific AMHS / CAMHS or state-wide, aimed at building and enhancing local systems of care for eating disorders

About you:

CEED is looking for clinicians with at least 3 – 5 years clinical experience in the mental health field with strengths (skills and knowledge) in any one of following areas:

  • provision of outpatient / community evidence-based treatment for children / adolescent, or adults experiencing eating disorders
  • Experience in the provision of education and training for health professionals
  • Experience in providing clinical case consultation, clinical supervision or mentoring of health professionals
  • Knowledge and skills in translation and implementation science
