What will you do?

Be part of a vibrant transdisciplinary team working with children from birth to 7 years who have developmental delay or disability, and their families. Deliver services via Telepractice to children and their families throughout Victoria. Work under a Trauma Informed Healing Oriented Framework in an organisation that values wellbeing for all.

Your role:

  • Deliver an innovative and engaging approach to Telepractice
  • Competently use technologies for Telepractice including a variety of platforms and web-based applications to deliver assessment and therapeutic interventions that are engaging for children and their families.
  • Utilise skills and knowledge in Occupational therapy or Speech Pathology, to provide high quality, goal driven, evidence-based, family-centred programs.
  • Demonstrate clinical competencies in your area to support child development and maximise family and community participation.
  • Use your discipline specific knowledge to provide consultations and work collaboratively with our other therapists.

Essential Criteria:

  • A tertiary qualification occupational therapy or speech pathology and current registration with APHRA
  • Demonstrated experience with technology platforms utilised for Telepractice
  • An ability to deliver dynamic Telepractice sessions combining skills such as sharing screens, annotation functions, using web- based resources
  • Ability to work collaboratively with your team
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, to implement effective caseload management strategies
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and ability to work within a billable model
  • Home office or private space with good internet connection to delivery Telepractice
