MCM is currently assisting the Department of Health & Human Services with providing support to 4 of the hotels in the Homelessness Hotel Emergency Response, Best Western Hotel (CBD), Somerset (CBD), West City Motel (Ardeer) and Monte Villa Hotel (Hoppers Crossing). This role will provide responsive and flexible support to the people placed in the emergency hotel accommodation.
The role will work with Health and Security personnel to assist in ensuring appropriate preventative measures are in place to protect the health and wellbeing of people residing in these hotels.
The role will be focused on short term practical responses such as food security, or referral to other services such as health, mental health, family violence support and AOD.
