Melbourne East Disability Advocacy (MEDA) is a community based organisation in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. MEDA safeguards and promotes the rights of people with intellectual disability through our Individual, Volunteer & Systemic Citizen Advocacy programs.

This part time role is to take a lead role in providing individual and systemic Disability Royal Commission advocacy and coordinating MEDAs response to identifying and engaging people with disability from CALD and ATSI backgrounds within our service area who could benefit from having Disability Royal Commission advocacy support.

You possess strong interpersonal and program co-ordination skills and have experience providing advocacy alongside people with disability in particular people from CALD communities.
