About the Opportunity

Macarthur Disability Services Ltd is currently recruiting for a Relationship Manager. This is an exciting new position within MDS, created to support organisational growth. The successful applicant will be an invaluable contributor to shaping and designing the role to its full potential.

Key Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Actively build partnerships and relationships with stakeholders to MDS to generate and support new business. This includes the MDS workforce, the wider community, government agencies and people with a disability, people living with mental illness, the frail aged and their carers.
  • Establish MDS as a "partner of choice”.
  • Identify funding opportunities and other potential growth areas for MDS

The successful applicant will have:

  • Outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relationship building and networking skills
  • Research and analytical experience and skills
  • Excellent written and presentation skills to develop business cases and to sell the benefits of a partnership with MDS.
  • An ability to develop and drive the MDS partnership strategy
  • Self-motivated with a successful track record in building meaningful partnerships that result in business growth.
  • Qualifications in Communication, Business Development, or suitable extensive experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the Disability Sector will be beneficial to this role

This position is permanent full time (76 hours per fortnight) on a flexi-time contract. The role is covered under the SCHCADS Award Level 6 classification ($44.72 - $46.68 per hour). Also offered is salary packaging, flexible working hours, mobile phone and leave loading.
