Generation Victoria (GenV) is a world-first initiative aiming to transform the whole of the State of Victoria into a single dynamic solutions platform, breaking down barriers in research to solve pressing questions and translating that into tangible actions that can improve the health, development and well-being of children and their parents.
Our GenV Recruiters are highly motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and an approachable, enthusiastic manner, to enable successful recruitment of families. You will be sensitive to complex and stressful situations, and comfortable in hospital settings with newborn babies.
Your role focuses on visiting parents or guardians of newborn babies, inviting them to participate in GenV. Visits with families are mostly conducted face-to-face and will occur shortly after babies are born in hospital. Successful recruitment of participants is a key component of this whole-of-state study and requires effective communication skills and detailed knowledge of the study design and outcome measures.
This opportunity is well suited to people with experience in customer service or healthcare. Positions may require some travel between services (km and travel time reimbursed)
