The Psychosocial Recovery Coach is a new service offered under the NDIS. To ensure we are best able to support people with psychosocial disabilities, we are looking to recruit an experienced mental health professional to join our Support Coordination team.
Your role as Recovery Coach is primarily to build strong and respectful relationships that enable recovery for people living with psychosocial disabilities. You will do this by:
The support is designed to be able to maintain engagement through periods of increased support needs due to the episodic nature of mental illness.
As a brand new role, we know that this case load will build; therefore you will also be trained to provide quality NDIS Support Coordination services to ensure a full-time workload. Now we know all about the NDIS and disability - so we will teach you this, what we need are your expertise in the recovery model of mental health support so that you can shape our services to deliver the best outcomes for people with psychosocial disabilties.
To support a COVIDsafe work environment, you will have the opportunity to work from home as well as in a COVIDsafe office environment.
