Exceptional employment opportunities exist for Support Workers that have decided disability is their field of service. We believe in providing the highest level of client-focused care and know by valuing our Support Workers we can achieve this. We are seeking the most experienced Disability Support Workers who are motivated and passionate about supporting people with disabilities live their best life.

As a Disability Support Worker and respected ambassador of McArthur you will be required to assist clients to live independently in their own home by assisting them with:

  • Personal Care
  • All aspects of individual support to low and high level clients
  • Skill Development
  • Cooking, shopping, community access
  • Social & Community participation

Applicants Must Have:

  • Relevant Industry experience, that may include working with Spinal Cord Injury and other physical disability
  • Certificate III in Individual Supports; Disability Cert IV or equivalent
  • Current Working with children blue card and Disability yellow card
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
  • Current Manual Handling Certificate
  • Medication & Bowel Care Certificates/experience will be looked at favourably
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clear communication and listening skills
  • A person-centred approach
