The Marymead Permanency Program is a well-established Out of Home Care Service located in central Wagga. We pride ourselves on working collaboratively to support children, young people and families in the Riverina.
Working as an integral member of the Permanency Support Program reporting directly to the Clinical Team Leader, the Therapeutic Outreach Worker is required to work within the organisation’s strategic objectives, values and outcomes.
Therapeutic Outreach Workers, in conjunction with Permanency Case Managers, Clinical staff and Team Leaders work with children, young people, siblings, foster carers, birth families and significant others to support stable, positive and sustainable permanent placement options. Where possible, permanency goals are focused towards family preservation and/or restoration, making the therapeutic interventions vital in supporting placement stability.

A police clearance conducted by Marymead and NSW Working with Children Check (at own expense) are a minimum requirement for this position. A current unrestricted driver’s licence is also essential. Employment at Marymead is subject to a 3 month probationary period with the option of extension.
