Marymead is a well-respected, community based, not-for-profit organisation that has provided a range of support services to children, young people and their families since 1967. Marymead now operates throughout the southern and western regional areas of NSW as well as the ACT with offices in Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Young, Moruya and Canberra. Marymead is seeking to fill the position outlined below.

About the Human Resources Officer role

Are you interested in working in a dynamic and committed team supporting Marymead staff and services? Do you want to work in a work area dedicated to quality and improvement? Marymead is looking for a Human Resources Officer to join the Systems and People Team. This position works to the HR Team Leader and areas of focus include recruitment administration, onboarding, maintenance of employee data and records, and supporting the continued improvement of the HR Information Management System (Kronos).

The successful applicant will have experience in HR Information Systems, and be willing to contribute to further enhancement and use of the HR system, Kronos. The right person will be systematic with attention to detail, but be flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

This is a permanent part-time position 30 hours per week. Located in our Narrabundah office you will have access to free parking and generous salary packaging arrangements will be available to the successful applicant.

To be successful for this position you will possess:

  • A Diploma in HRM discipline or relevant experience in a HR context;
  • Experience with HR Information Management Systems (Kronos preferred);
  • HR administration and record keeping experience;
  • Sound oral and written communication
  • Knowledge of Fair Work, Privacy and other relevant legislation; and
  • Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements;
  • An ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
