Marymead is a well-respected, community based, not-for-profit organisation that has provided a range of support services to children, young people and their families since 1967. Marymead now operates throughout the southern and western regional areas of NSW as well as the ACT with offices in Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Young, Moruya and Canberra. Marymead is now seeking to fill the position outlined below.

About the position

The Family Referral Service (FRS) is seeking an appropriately experienced worker to join our fabulous, supportive team providing referral and outreach services to Queanbeyan and surrounding communities. The role is based in Queanbeyan, NSW two days per week, and one day per week based in local Queanbeyan schools (Family Referral Service in Schools program). This is a dynamic and meaningful role, where your interpersonal skills will be utilised in order to get the best outcome for families, tailored specifically to each families needs. This is a permanent part-time position, three days per week.

Qualification, certifications and security clearances

  • Qualifications in Community Work, Community Development, Mental Health or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with families is essential.
  • NSW Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
  • Unrestricted drivers licence
