Marymead is a well-respected, community based, not-for-profit organisation that has provided a range of support services to children, young people and their families since 1967. Marymead now operates throughout the southern and western regional areas of NSW as well as the ACT with offices in Goulburn, Wagga Wagga, Young, Moruya and Canberra. Marymead is seeking to fill the position outlined below within our Family and Relationship Services Unit.
This is a casual position involving the delivery of counselling services. This position provides opportunity to work flexibly across programs as needed within the Family and Relationship Services Unit. As a Family Counsellor, you will provide individual, family or relationship counselling as required by the client(s). The Family Counsellor may also facilitate group work, case planning, advocacy, mediation, conduct risk assessments and referral to other relevant services according to program objectives. You will be primarily based at Marymead’s Narrabundah site as part of the Emotional Wellbeing team and may provide outreach to other locations in ACT or NSW as required.
