The position

The Senior Manager, Operations is responsible for providing leadership across our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) Services to ensure exceptional service delivery standards, achievement of performance and revenue targets, operational tasks are completed to service standards, contractual requirements, legislation and accreditation requirements. Stakeholder management (such as DCJ) and transition planning are integral components of this role.

Working across our Therapeutic Care Residential Services, your main duties will be to ensure exceptional service delivery standards, achieve performance and revenue targets, manage the implementation and delivery of the Marist180 Therapeutic Framework, and ensure operational tasks are completed to service standards, contractual requirements, legislation and accreditation requirements.

A key function of this role also includes stakeholder engagement, both within and outside of the agency.

The candidate

Our ideal applicant is a person who is operationally driven with a strong sense of urgency, energy and determination to get the job done. Ideally you will be analytical, strategic and KPI’s focused. This person will have the ability to coach direct reports and emphasize on accountability. You will be expected to offer paramount support to your Managers; helping them achieve their full potential. It will be crucial for you to deliver positive outcomes via the use of excellent interpersonal skills to your advantage.

The qualification, experience and skills required to demonstrate success within their role:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (or evidence of enrollment and completing tertiary qualification).
  • 10 years sector experience and demonstrated senior management experience in a similar role, preferably in a residential care environment.
  • High level of child protection regulations and best practice knowledge.
  • A strong understanding of accreditation and compliance requirements in the community sector.
  • Experience managing, leading and developing a multi-disciplinary team in a community services setting.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to influence and imbed change.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ethical decision-making abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and data management abilities.
  • Well-developed computer skills.

Work Requirements:

  • Valid Working with Children Check.
  • Clear National Criminal History Check.
  • Unrestricted NSW driver’s licence.
  • Ability to work in Australia.
  • Current and valid First Aid and CPR certification.
