Human Resources Business Partner

Marist180 (www.marist180.org.au) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to creating positive change for vulnerable young people and their families. Marist180 is now seeking applications from an experience, passionate and driven HR Business Partner!

The position

Reporting directly to the HR Manager, you are accountable for partnering with our people leaders to design and implement workable HR solutions that are practical, business-focused and aligned to HR’s strategic objectives.

You will be the trusted advisor for a designated client group providing expert advice and support on a broad spectrum of HR activities including daily HR problems, performance management, employee relations, WHS, workers compensation, workforce planning, succession planning, talent management and change management.

This is a hands on role that is generalist by nature.

Essential Criteria:

  • Tertiary qualified in Human Resources or another related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in a HR generalist, HR Advisor and/or Business Partnering role.
  • Significant experience in industrial relations and sound understanding of industrial and employee relations theory, principles, policies and practices.
  • Experience working with HR Information System, ELMO is highly desirable.

Other Essential Requirements:

  • Current National Criminal History Check.
  • Current Working with Children’s Check.
  • Valid NSW Drivers Licence.
