Inspired by Christian values, Many Rivers is a for-purpose organisation that provides Microenterprise Development (MED) and Community Economic Development (CED) support to Indigenous and other Australians who want to access the economy however for various reasons, lack the financial or practical business support to do so.
Our purpose is to walk alongside individuals and communities over the long term, offering accessible business development support, products and services. With this support individuals and communities can regain control of their financial future, reduce personal stress, move away from welfare dependency, provide for their families and contribute more productively to society.
Reporting to the Head of Region WA & SA, the primary purpose of the MED Manager is to help Many Rivers achieve its Mission and Objectives. The MED Manager is responsible for supporting microenterprise development within an identified region, embarking on a real journey and providing and managing loans to clients. In the pursuit of microenterprise development, the MED Manager is entrusted to build strong and trusted networks with related organisations and associations in designated regions to enable and support the organisation’s mission.

Our MED Managers have experience working with various communities, are experts in business and financial management, understand corporate governance and organisational management and can lead strategic/business/organisational planning. We are looking for diligent self-starters, who are relational, commercially savvy and are energised by the challenges and opportunities to address structural disadvantage in Australia.
In addition to your technical skills and experience to support microenterprise development, candidates are:
Successful candidates will be required to complete pre-employment checks including reference checks, Criminal History check, Equifax Check and Working with Children / Vulnerable People check, where applicable.
