About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the Local Area Marketing and Engagement role is responsible for implementation of the Many Rivers client acquisition and referral marketing plan across urban, regional and remote locations to support at least 500 client business meetings annually.

The role will also work on supporting business sustainability and engagement in the business operating stage by creating, testing and refining campaigns that contribute to achieving 80% business operating sustainability rate per annum.

Working alongside and leading our Marketing Coordinator your specific areas of focus include:

  • Designing and implementing engagement solutions for client referral pathways, expanding the range of digital acquisition marketing solutions in use, coaching and partnering local managers on proactive local area marketing referral initiatives
  • Develop and execute digital marketing client acquisition projects, coordinating across multiple channels including email, web, social and advertising
  • Develop and execute digital marketing client acquisition projects, coordinating across multiple channels including email, web, social and advertising
  • Develop and deliver campaigns that positively position Many Rivers products and services with referring agencies such as CDP and NEIS providers

As part of the Business Development team, this role will contribute to overall team performance, morale and a culture of ownership, reflecting the organisational values of care, respect and accountability.

About You

We are seeking a self-starter and creative individual with exceptional communication skills who understands the value of marketing and communications and the positive impact this can have on our client and community offering.

Most likely you will have:

  • At least five years business development/brand/marketing/digital experience;
  • Exceptional written communication skills
  • Proven track record for delivery
  • Experience in business development, budgets, websites, digital campaigns, online content, social media and small business marketing
  • Ability to think creatively and contribute to team strategy; and
  • Comfortable working across urban, regional and remote geographies and markets
  • Degree Qualification in Marketing and or Communications is required
