Our purpose is to walk alongside individuals and communities over the long term, offering accessible business development support, products and services. With this support individuals and communities can regain control of their financial future, reduce personal stress, move away from welfare dependency, provide for their families and contribute more productively to society.
Our Community Economic Development Managers (CEDM) work with Indigenous communities that want to establish economic activity on their land and sea. This position reports to the Head of Community Economic Development, supporting and driving our purpose across the Darwin and NT Top-End region. We have a tested and innovative Community Economic Development (CED) framework and methodology to work with Indigenous communities as they strengthen the foundations of their community organisation to manage long-term and successful businesses and employment. Our CED Managers have experience working with Indigenous communities, are experts in business and financial management, understand corporate governance and organisational management and can lead strategic/business/organisational planning. We are looking for diligent self-starters who have a demonstrated ability to project-manage for outcomes, are relational, commercially savvy, and are energised by the challenges and opportunities to support communities to achieve real and tangible enterprise and employment outcomes.
