• Part time role, 37.5 hours per fortnight, $37.51 per hour plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

Mackay Conservation Group is the lead community based environmental organisation in the Mackay-Isaac-Whitsunday region. We have a part-time job for a person with initiative and attention to detail to take on the role of Environment Centre Manager. The successful candidate will report to the Mackay Conservation Group Coordinator and will be based at the Environment Centre, 156 Wood St, Mackay.

You will be the person primarily responsible for processing the organisation's accounts and payroll. In addition you will provide administrative support for a fundraising event in 2020 and the development of Mackay Conservation Group's strategic plan in 2021.

Your other duties will include:

• Responding to or redirecting external communications
• Weekly cleaning
• Setting up displays
• Gardening
• Basic website management 
• Fundraising support
• Membership management

We realise that few people will be able to complete all of these tasks at first. Training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
