Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation is one of Australia’s leading foundations and is Australia’s oldest and largest community foundation. Established in 1923, the Foundation creates positive social change through its support of charitable organisations delivering innovative, effective programs, and its collaborative Initiatives addressing current community challenges.
Our grants program supports five Impact Areas including Education & Employment, Environment & Sustainability, Healthy & Resilient Communities, Homelessness & Affordable Housing and Inspiring Philanthropy. Within these we have specific outcomes we aim to support. We have an Impact reporting framework and undertake the Vital Signs report every few years. These help to inform our work.
Healthy & Resilient Communities (HRC)
HRC Outcome 1: Increased cross-sector collaborations strengthening community resilience to extreme weather and disasters
HRC Outcome 2: Increased capacity of health organisations to respond to the health impacts of climate change
