Council is seeking an enthusiastic and suitably qualified or experienced person to undertake the role of Wellbeing Officer.

 In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Manager Community Wellbeing to deliver actions identified in the Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing plan
  • Providing administrative support to lead agencies identified in the plan
  • Coordinating and providing support for community wellbeing activities and events
  • Delivering actions associated with the ‘Move it Loddon’ program
  • Identifying opportunities in response to emerging community needs 
  • Promoting activities/projects and liaising with the broader community.

This could be the role for you if you have experience in the delivery of community based programs and the ability to work collaboratively and within partnerships, while also effectively collecting and collating data for reporting, evaluation and presentation or have recently graduated with community development or health promotion qualifications.

A qualification in community development or health promotion would be highly regarded but is not mandatory for this position.
