About the role:

We have a busy and fulfilling role in our Community Care Team, leading a small and dedicated team who provide rostering and payroll services for our clients. As the Team Leader, you will be a key contact to our clients and staff, and will assist with our reporting requirements. You will use various computer systems for different aspects of your role, and we will the provide time and support to develop your knowledge of those systems.

This position is a fixed-term full-time position until 30 June 2023 located primarily in our Wedderburn Office. We have a Flexible Working Policy, which allows you opportunity to discuss your preferred working hours with your Coordinator.

An attractive salary package of $42.68 per hour plus statutory superannuation is on offer. This is in addition to the many non-financial benefits the Shire has to offer its employees.

About you:

You will:

  • Be willing to learn our rostering and payroll system so that you can provide support to the team, if you don’t already have experience in this area
  • Be willing to learn other computer systems that we use to lodge data to our funding bodies
  • Be organised and methodical in your approach to work and have a high attention to detail
  • Have a passion for providing services to the community and interacting with your staff and clients
  • Have extensive experience working in a customer based environment and/or a qualification in community services
  • Have current Victorian drivers licence and be prepared to undergo a Victorian Police Check.
