Recovery Station provides community and clinic based allied health services with a strong focus on disability and senior health (including providers under the NDIS, iCare, DVA & Medicare). Since being founded in 2005, we have consistently grown and now proudly service a diverse caseload across the greater Hunter, Sydney and the Central Coast regions with the disciplines of OT, Mental Health OT, MH Social Work, Speech Pathology, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Dietetics and AHA. Our services are individually designed to improve the quality of life for our clients living with a disability or those looking to age as independently as possible.

THE OPPORTUNITY

With a team of over 110 staff, this is an opportunity for you to join a growing multidisciplinary allied health team providing clinical services to people in their homes and in our clinics.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated HR Administrative Assistant who is able to work independently and is passionate about all things admin and HR. The position will be based from our Toronto Office, with the option of a hybrid working environment between home and the office. Strong initiative, attention to detail, effective coordination and relationship development skills will be your keys to success.

You will assist in the coordination of a busy recruitment program, in alignment with our values, to support sustainable and continual growth of the organisation. You will be responsible for providing a range of HR operational support and services to help met business objectives and the needs of employee's and the HR team. You will also assist in fostering initiatives that create an employee experience that everyone wants to be part of!

Experience in administration or HR is essential. A knowledge and experience within the aged care and disability sector would be beneficial.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • First point of contact for all HR related recruitment and general inquiries and questions
  • Providing recruitment support including advertising, updating job boards, scheduling interviews, responding to candidates, sending out employment documents, following up on HR compliance and employee files
  • Providing onboarding materials and facilitating orientation sessions
  • Assist with employee engagement events, rewards and recognition initiatives

SKILL & EXPERIENCE

What you will need to be considered:

  • Previous experience in a fast paced Administrative Assistant / HR position
  • Working understanding of HR processes eg onboarding (desirable)
  • Experience with Candidate management/recruitment systems advantageous
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and maintain confidentiality
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated time management and strong organisational skills
  • Ability to problem solve and work autonomously
  • Willingness to take on additional tasks when required
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Skills
  • Right to work in Australia with valid WWCC & NDIS Workers Screening or willingness to obtain
