About us

The Lebanese Muslim association is one of the largest Muslim community organisations in Australia. We provide multiple social, educational, recreational and welfare services to a broad demographic of communities.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced project lead or team leader to manage and lead community programs and/or to lead a team. The role requires a leader who is able to work independently on projects, an ability to collaborate with teams and external stakeholders, and project management skills.

We prefer applicants with experience coordinating and delivering multiple grassroots community programs. The applicants must demonstrate strong communication skills, problem solving, work to deadlines, budget management and achieve outcomes.

Most importantly, we want applicants who are passionate about community development with a strong desire to improve their expertise in serving culturally and linguistically diverse communities. The role requires a dedicated person who is willing to be challenged, adapt and take initiative.

On offer to the successful applicants is a 12-month part-time or full-time contract. A remuneration package commensurate with professional experience will be offered.
