About the role

We want to employ an experienced and passionate Graphic Designer and Illustrator to join our creative team. The position focuses on designing and producing creative content for the LMA’s ongoing programs and initiatives.

We prefer applicants with a good command of Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, on a MAC, strong finished art skills with good layout, written and interpersonal skills. We are looking for an applicant that has illustration experience and has developed a profile of works as part of their professional experiences. We want applicants with a demonstrated understanding of layout, design and prepress, including social media design, flyer design and multi-page booklet design.

We require applicants with tertiary study in graphic design and/or equivalent with at least 2 years work experience. Knowledge and skills in photography, web development and WordPress is desirable.

The ideal candidate will have the ability to focus on multiple tasks and prioritise workloads, meet design briefs and deadlines in a timely manner and effective communication skills.

On offer to the successful applicants is a 12-month part-time or full-time contract. A remuneration package commensurate to professional experience will be offered.
