About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate junior Illustrator and Animator to join our creative team. This is a full or part-time position, which focuses on designing and producing creative content for the LMA’s ongoing programs and initiatives.

Position Requirements

• Draw freehand, either on paper or tablet, using a scene shot list to develop storyboards for pre-production visualisation.
• Convert drawings into a vector format and being mindful of rigging requirements in Adobe Illustrator for use in Adobe Animate, After Effects or other character animation software.
• Able to animate in After Effects, Adobe Animate or other animation software.

A tertiary qualification in graphic design or other related qualification with at least 2 years work experience is preferable. Knowledge and skills in photography, web development and WordPress is a bonus.

You have the ability to focus on multiple tasks and prioritise workloads under time-critical circumstances and meet design briefs and deadlines in a timely manner.

You will be working with the Creative Department Team Leader and the Creative Department Art Director.

On offer to the successful applicant is either a full/part-time contract; a remuneration package commensurate with professional experience will be offered.
