At Lives Lived Well, we help people impacted by drugs or alcohol as well as mental health. We get lives back on track by delivering a wide range of programs and services (including residential rehab) across 40 locations in Queensland and New South Wales.

About the role

We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for providing case management, Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) counselling, facilitating group programs and contribute to the day to day functioning of the residential community.

The successful candidate will need a distinct leadership quality that enables them to work in a high demand environment with a level of autonomy, expedience and efficacy.

The role is based in Chambers Flats and will be provided with great support from an enthusiastic Team Leader and collaborative team.

The base salary range for this role is $78,921.00 - $82,478.00 + super (9.5%) + salary packaging (increase take home pay by $6000 per annum)

If you are interested in the role, the ideal candidate will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in social work, counselling or mental health
• Applied knowledge in contemporary evidence based AOD clinical practice
• Experience working in a residential treatment service delivery
• Sound knowledge of the potential risk elements specific to this type of environment.
• Highly developed communication and engagement skills.
• Experience in developing and delivering education programs and group facilitation.
• A flexible and collaborative approach to working within a team.
• A commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and professional development
• Experience in counselling approaches with AOD experience (highly regarded)
• Drivers Licence
• Blue Card (can apply if you don’t have one)
