In January this year we opened a Drug and Alcohol residential treatment centre, called Wunya. We are looking for a passionate and experienced Team Leader to lead the established team in creating a safe, supportive and structured environment that inspires genuine and lasting change for our residents.

About the area

This role is based in Caboolture, a 40-minute drive from Brisbane CBD (against the traffic!) or the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Or even closer if you live on the North side of Brisbane. There is plenty of free on-site parking. Wunya residential service is a brand-new fit out, you will be working in a lovely new residential setting along side a highly professional and passionate team .

About the role

This is an ongoing full time position, working from Wunya Residential Centre in Caboolture. You will lead a team of passionate and professional clinicals and support staff, and provide clinical and operational management of Wunya.

• Lead the team in providing treatment and recovery services
• Provide day to day clinical oversight of program delivery and client wellbeing
• Lead the clinical review of individual/group treatment
• Provide expert AOD practice advice and secondary consultation to the team

What you will bring to the role

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or allied health (or similar field)
• Minimum five years experience working in a residential rehabilitation or related service delivery setting
• Strong experience providing leadership and mentoring to a multi-disciplinary team.
• Contemporary knowledge and application of evidence-based individual and group interventions and clinical practice in drug and alcohol treatment and recovery
• Significant experience working with clients with complex needs, AOD dependencies and/or mental health
