At Lives Lived Well, we help people impacted by drugs or alcohol as well as mental health. We get lives back on track by delivering a wide range of programs and services (including residential rehab) across 40 locations in Queensland and New South Wales.

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Senior Mental Health Clinician with experience in providing treatment to young people who have experienced complex trauma. The Senior Mental Health Clinician will oversee and provide comprehensive mental health assessment and clinical interventions to young people who have severe and complex mental health as a result of a developmental trauma history.

The role is based in Southport and will be provided with great support from an enthusiastic Team Leader and collaborative team.

The base salary range for this role is $82,400 – 97,850 per annum + super (9.5%) + salary packaging (increase take home pay by $6000 per annum)

The successful candidate will need:

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Mental Health Nursing
• Current registration with AHPRA or Eligibility for membership AASW
• Substantial experience in mental health care, completion of mental health assessments, clinical interventions and family work, for young people experiencing the impact of past complex trauma
• Evidence of training and experience in relevant trauma informed mental health therapies
• A high level of interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Demonstrated ability to actively engage and work collaboratively with young people and their families/carers/kin
• Demonstrated ability to provide high quality assessment and evidence-based psychological interventions, within a recovery framework for young people
• Hold a Working with Children Check (e.g. Blue Card)
• Current Australian Drivers Licence
