About Lives Lived Well
At Lives Lived Well, we help people impacted by drugs or alcohol as well as mental health. We get lives back on track by delivering a wide range of programs and services (including residential rehab) across 40 locations in Queensland and New South Wales.
About the role
We are looking for a person that will be responsible for coordinating the daily operation of the commercial kitchen at Wyla for Residents. You will work closely with residents to oversee the preparation and cooking of daily meals.
The role is ongoing and will be provided with great internal support from an enthusiastic Program Manager and the rest of the team in the service.
The base salary range for this role is $54,260 – 59,339 per annum + super (9.5%) + salary packaging
If you are interested in the role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Certificate III in Cookery
- Demonstrated experience in managing the daily operations of an industrial kitchen.
- Demonstrated capability to plan menus within an allocated budget.
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and train others in food safety and handling, meal preparation and menu planning and the proper use and care of catering equipment.
- Ability to work alongside residents of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in a caring, compassionate and respectful manner.
- Demonstrated ability to take responsibility for food ordering and stock control.
- Ability to work as an effective team member and related positively to a diverse range of people.
- Current Drivers Licence
- NSW Working with Children Check (or able to apply for one)
