About the role
At Lives Lived Well, we are looking for an individual who will be responsible for providing brief Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) interventions to consumers with mild to moderate depression and/or anxiety. This role will link consumers with appropriate community networks and refer to other support services (including employment, financial or housing assistance, or more intensive therapy services).
The role is ongoing and will be provided with great support from an enthusiastic Team Leader and a team of New Access Coach, based across South West QLD.
The base salary range for this role is $35.02 – 37.68 per hour + super (9.5%) + salary packaging.
If you are interested in the role, the ideal candidate will have:
- Qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Mental Health or a related field
- Demonstrated understanding of mental health conditions and the mental health sector
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
- Proven engagement and communication skills, particularly by telephone
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly learn new skills
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Blue Card (can apply if you don’t have it)
