About the opportunity

We are looking for a passionate and energetic Drug and Alcohol Case Worker to support our clients at Wyla Residential AOD Services based in Orange. You will work with clients to support them in coming in to the Wyla program and throughout the Residential program, this will include:

  • Work with clients to develop, implement and review their individual goals within a planned service approach
  • Provide high quality engagement, assessment, counselling, case management and support services to clients.
  • Design client safety plans from areas identified in the client service plan, biopsychosocial assessment and outcome measures.
  • Provide high quality engagement with stakeholder working towards a recovery-oriented framework which supports the client’s long-term engagement post-rehabilitation.
  • Manage a case load of clients across the Wyla program, by providing support, service coordination, referral and advocacy to assist client in achieving their goals.

The salary range for is $ 71,491.68 to $76,984 annually. We are fortunate that our employees can also access $18,540 salary packaging which increases your take home pay.

We are looking for an experienced Clinician who has:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or allied health.
  • Experience in contemporary evidence based AOD counselling practice, case management and intake and assessment
  • High level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including report writing.
  • Capacity to motivate and encourage clients to make change in their lives
  • Capacity for flexibility and self-direction in organising and managing workloads
  • Hold a Working with Children Check (e.g. Blue Card)
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence
