The role:

Reporting to the Team Leader, Housing, the roles call for an experienced Housing Manager who will provide exceptional client service, tenancy management and support tenant engagement and community development programs.

Main deliverables of the role will include:

  • Assist our complex needs clients sustain their tenancies by managing rent arrears
  • Having a client centred approach to all tenancy activities and engage with individuals to identify their housing and lifestyle needs to create inclusive and cohesive communities
  • Resolving tenancies issues
  • Refer tenants and work with support partners
  • Be informed of relevant legislation pertaining to the quality and compliance frameworks used within the community housing sector.

Who we are looking for:

This role is varied and requires a person who has:

  • Relevant social housing qualification or equivalent working experience in the community housing sector;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • An aptness for change in the working environment, whilst remaining client focused at all times;
  • Excellent relationship building skills demonstrated through the ability to liaise with support partners and co-workers;
  • Strong IT skills, including intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and Outlook) and experience using a tenancy management system
  • Experience attending NCAT cases;
  • A current unrestricted NSW driver’s license and own car (preferred)

We have 2 Housing Manager roles available:

1 x West Ryde 

1 x Chatswood 

Either role may require you to work at both offices.
