Lighthouse Foundation provides homes and therapeutic care programs to children and young people impacted by long-term neglect, abuse, and homelessness. Our focus is to create caring communities where kids can feel safe, form meaningful relationships, and begin to heal from traumatic experiences. For the past 30 years, our proven Model of Care has successfully transformed the lives of over 1,000 young people using a range of evidence-based strategies. We now educate and support Foster Carers in the same way, so that they too can take care of some of Australia’s most vulnerable children.
As Lighthouse’s Head of Marketing, you will lead the development and implementation of Lighthouse Foundation’s Marketing & Communications and Branding to support major revenue, brand and supporter growth. Your role will be joining at a pivotal time as the organisation launches a new three-year strategic direction. You will be responsible for creating and project managing innovative marketing campaigns, fundraising appeals and key stakeholder events.
Ultimately, this role’s purpose is to deliver marketing needs internally and externally, drive brand awareness and profitability for the organisation, and manage the broader marketing team’s efforts to raise funds and create meaningful end-to-end donor experiences.
Working closely with the Founder and reporting to the Director of Marketing & Fundraising, you will manage a small team of 2 marketing coordinator resources. This role is suited to someone who is highly motivated, proactive, collaborative and most importantly, can think ‘big picture’ to help lead the foundation into this next exciting growth phase.
The desired successful candidate for this role will have experience working with external agencies/internal teams to deliver a major Branding project and Website redevelopment as these are two core projects of the role initially.
