About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a 6-month case management role to join our growing Family Violence Intervention team. This role will provide intake assessment, case management, advocacy, referrals and support to men who are on Corrections Orders. The position works collaboratively in a team-based environment to engage and provides services to men who use violence.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting intakes and assessment
  • Provision of case management
  • Ongoing risk assessments
  • Direct contact and safety planning for the men

About you

Essential is your demonstrated experience in working with mandated men on court orders, along with a strong understanding of holistic psycho-social case management. You will also have the ability to contribute to the team and to provide exceptional services, and to promote the profile of Relationship Matters in the community.

A professional in your field, you will have a clear understanding of the feminist framework and how male privilege impacts on our current social structures. You are able to work independently, while working within a cohesive, committed and high performing team. Together with your exceptional level of ethical standards and well-developed interpersonal communication skills, you will have the capacity to work to high standards of practice. Previous experience working in a family violence services system and/or case management capacity would be highly regarded.
