We have an exciting opportunity available with the LWB South Australian Drug and Alcohol Program for a Nurse Practitioner with Team Leader experience to lead support services in an innovative Assertive Outreach Drug and Alcohol Program, Next Steps. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated professional with an alcohol and other drug nursing background to lead a team across the Port Augusta region in South Australia.
In this role you will ensure that participants who have a history of reluctant engagement with treatment services are encouraged into assessment and treatment for their alcohol and other drug concerns. The role coordinates and delivers a range of supports that reflect the individual’s complex, and comorbid needs and goals as described in their individual treatment plans.
The Team Leader – Nurse Practitioner is responsible for leadership and provision of clinical expertise in the coordination of a multi-disciplinary team. There is a requirement for the role to provide education, innovative and flexible health solutions, and clinical interventions to clients in an assertive outreach community-based setting.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
