About the role 

As a key person in the life of an older person, you will be providing one on one support to our Aged Care and Veteran clients, assisting them to remain living independently at home and access the community through the provision of social support, personal care, transport and domestic assistance with individual sessions ranging between 1 to 3 hours.

These positions will be required to work within Canberra and the surrounding areas, with both Permanent Part Time and Casual opportunities currently available. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Social support and transportation including transport to medical appointments, grocery shopping and social activities
  • Personal care including showering, grooming and dressing assistance
  • Housekeeping and domestic assistance including cooking, household cleaning and laundry assistance

Skills & Experience  

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care or Aged Care (or willingness to obtain)
  • A current unrestricted Australian drivers license
  • Reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • Good communication skills and a passion for supporting and promoting the individual needs of our clients.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and a Working with Vulnerable People Card.
