About the role

Assist the QLD & NT State and Territory Client Services leadership teams to enable sustainable growth. Join a dynamic, multi-skilled national Strategy and Engagement team where you will gain exposure to various sectors that are experiencing the substantial growth.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to the required work for tenders, grants and other business cases to funders and partners
  • Research and identify external market trends to inform growth forecasting and planning
  • Research and identify opportunities for new regional business and services
  • Identify systemic issues, share best practice and implement process improvement
  • Work closely with the Manager Strategy,  Engagement, Business Partnering and State and Territory Directors to implement growth strategy in QLD & NT
  • Be the conduit between Marketing & Communications, Public Relations & Partnerships and Client Services to provide consistent and relevant collateral, strategy and support for business development activities
  • Develop internal and external relationships and partnerships which support our national and local growth plans
  • Lead the project management of QLD & NT tender applications or expressions of interest

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
  • Demonstrated experience writing government tenders for a large organisation
  • Experience developing and implementing business plans and strategies
  • Have a partnership approach with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong verbal communication skills and presentation ability
  • Experience work with senior leadership teams

As this role covers both Queensland and the Northern Territory, travel to the NT will be required every at least monthly.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
