About the Role

The purpose of the Senior Recruitment Advisor is to manage the end to end recruitment for a diverse range of roles, from entry level positions to senior leadership roles, in partnership with Hiring Managers, and People, Safety & Culture Business Partners for the Northern Territory.

The Senior Recruitment Advisor also supports the Talent & Attraction Lead QLD & NT in the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies, programs and initiatives within the assigned geography, and to help build a culture that will drive LWB to meet its strategic objectives.

This is a transactional role with high volume recruitment of 30+ roles at any one time with complex programs. You will need to be experienced with time management and conflicting priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate end to end employee recruitment (including sourcing, screening, interviewing and assessment centres, coordinating probity clearance and reference checks, offer process and providing candidate feedback)
  • Monitor, coach, support, motivate and develop team members to enable them to deliver to the best of their ability
  • Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity and Anti-Discrimination processes and procedures are embedded into all recruitment decisions
  • Provide recruitment support and advice to Hiring Managers, People, Safety and Culture Business partners, employees and candidates
  • Provide support to the Talent & Attraction team including but not limited to;
    • Report generation
    • Project management
    • Issues management
    • General administration
  • Represent Life Without Barriers at careers events and universities as well as creating initiatives to attract candidates (where applicable)

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a Senior Recruiter with extensive experience in operational end to end recruitment servicing a diverse range of client groups across a diverse range of roles from entry level to senior leadership roles
  • Strong ability to develop excellent working relationships with Hiring Managers, employees and candidates at all levels
  • Working knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory environment for areas of business responsibility
  • Superior skills in relation to time management, personal organisation and project management
  • Current full Australian drivers licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
