About the role

In this permanent full time position, you will provide strategic and responsive project management for the Director, Client Outcomes. This is a newly created position within our growing Client Services team where you will be managing projects specifically focussing on improving outcomes for children and young people in our services. Your influencing skills and ability to work in a fast paced, agile environment will be key to your success. This position can be located from any of our offices with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director, Client Outcomes to partner and collaborate with Child, Youth & Family (CYF) services teams and other relevant teams to ensure successful implementation of national CYF reform projects, new programs and initiatives are delivered according to their objectives
  • Conduct research and analysis to support the development of projects and related policies
  • Prepare a range of project related documents for key stakeholders including status updates, project reports, budgets, change management memos and discussion papers to manage the flow of information
  • Provide advice and support to project team members in undertaking tasks and implementing project plans
  • Collaborate with teams across the organisation to drive and contribute to projects that aim to enhance client outcomes and contribute to the strategic directions of the organisation
  • Participate in identifying systemic issues, sharing best practice and supporting the implement systems improvement

Skills & Experience

  • Proven project management experience in fast paced and agile environments with sound knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practice
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting high-level projects and project delivery in a national, large or high transactional organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver outcomes within agreed timeframes and quality standards
  • Ability to apply theoretical service models to workable solutions in applied settings
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Strong influencing and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, and ability to think laterally and strategically

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
