About the role  

In this ongoing Roster Officer role you will be responsible for supporting a large casual pool within the VDAS program, primarily supporting Disability Support Workers shift allocation using KRONOS.  

This role will require you to use your highly developed interpersonal skills to build confidence and trust with our clients and employees, whilst ensuring that our available casuals are being rostered in a way that values and promotes workforce sustainability.  This role will be based in Canterbury (currently remotely) reporting to the Senior Roster Officer. These positions are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (NO WEEKENDS)

To be successful in this role you will possess the following: 

Skills & Experience   

  • Prior experience in a rostering, workforce planning or similar 
  • Experience with Kronos preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively time manage competing priorities to deliver outcomes at a high standard, within agreed timeframes 
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality 

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
