About the Role

Working within the Property Division of Life Without Barriers you will be managing more than 100 residential properties. The successful applicant will be welcomed into an established and progressive environment, with strong Property Management team leadership. This is a full time 12 month maximum term contract role based in our Newcastle Head Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of more than 100 residential properties across the country. 
  • Take responsibility for various key lease administration functions in respect of the portfolio – including Property Data Base Management, review and processing of property related payments and regular reporting and compliance related tasks
  • Undertake property searches and submit applications for additional residential properties as required.
  • Assist in facilitating lease renewals and new lease agreements with Life Without Barriers Management and Agency Property Managers
  • Assisting to ensure all leases and other required documents are fully executed, with details recorded on the Property Management System
  • Respond and coordinate requests for Maintenance work – based on a thorough understanding of relevant lease provisions
  • Assist in managing the termination / vacate process for residential properties

Skills & Experience

  • Highly developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven experience in end-to-end residential Property Management
  • High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • An enthusiastic, self-motivated and reliable attitude and a team player
  • Ability to work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Current driver's licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
