About the Role

This is a permanent part time role, working approximately 20 hours per week, based in either our Ballina or Newcastle office, the successful candidate will provide quick and accurate data entry assistance to our disability programs. 

You will be responsible for accurately entering a high volume of data into the relevant system/s and assisting in reporting to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission. The successful candidate will have previous high-volume data collation and entry experience and be able to manage competing priorities to deliver high quality outcomes in a busy work environment.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter data into database software and check to ensure accuracy of data that has been inputted as per data entry guidelines
  • Resolve discrepancies in information and obtain further information where required for incomplete data/information
  • Respond to information requests from managers and other operational units as required
  • Ensure successful program management and communication through timely and accurate reporting. stakeholder liaison and understanding of high levels of data and service needs

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in a high-volume data entry role and the preparation and monitoring of a high volume of correspondence and documentation
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in and the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high quality outcomes within strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with data base software (such as PRODA and Excel) and data entry guidelines
  • Strong written communication skills in summarising information for reports
  • The ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships with a range of stakeholders
