About the role

As the Project Manager for Culture and Practice you will design and manage programs and initiatives in partnership with the regional leadership team that focus on employee engagement, well-being and skill development of all staff. This will require you to think big, be comfortable challenging convention, and be able to build positive relationships with key stakeholders.

The ideal individual for the role is knowledgeable in multiple human resource disciplines including but not limited to employee relations, company culture and diversity and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement initiatives that support LWB’s great service through great practice framework
  • Development of internal training programs such as leadership
  • Engage with all regional staff to gain feedback
  • Developing positive relationships with stakeholders via role modelling and listening to grievances
  • Participate in team meetings and lead culture and values-based activities
  • Lead performance management processes in partnership with People Safety and Culture and the regional leadership team
  • Internal communications
  • Increase all employees understanding of role expectations to ensure best outcomes for people with a disability
  • Evolve staff recognition programs
  • Any other initiatives relating to Voice of Employee, Engagement and Performance

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources, Human Services and or Business Management
  • Knowledge of human services policy and practice in Australia
  • Proven ability to successfully deliver positive outcomes in project management roles
  • Ability to handle sensitive material, demonstrate a high level of confidentiality, and operate with integrity and honesty
  • Demonstrated ability in time management, organisational skills and well developed problem solving skills
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgement within the context of high risk matters

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
