About the role

The purpose of the Office Manager is to provide oversight and management of the Administration Team across the LWB NT Region to ensure a cross program, client focused, holistic approach to supporting all clients and ensuring all business needs and requirements are met. This will be offered on a 12 month max term contract, with full time hours. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain local administrative systems and procedures and ensure the co-ordination of administrative support for the effective management of all programs
  • Provide timely, effective diary management for the Regional Manager and teams by prioritising and organising meetings, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Organise events, including booking venues, arranging catering and equipment, and managing invites/attendees
  • Arrange travel and accommodation as needed
  • Prepare high quality documents, reports, letters and submissions
  • Develop, lead, motivate and manage a team of administrative staff with a cross program focus
  • Liaise with various external stakeholders including Government and bodies, community partners and regulatory agencies
  • Apply and uphold the principles of a respectful, inclusive and diverse workplace, free from discrimination, harassment or bullying 

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualification in Business Administration, Community Services or related discipline
  • Current NT Driver Licence
  • High level administrative skills and experience in providing executive support and assistance at a senior level
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and management
  • Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Demonstrated ability in time management and organisational skills, able to identify priorities, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
