About the role

While working locally with our disability services teams across Victoria, the role is part of a national L&D team which is committed to creating innovative solutions to business problems by growing the capability of our people. This is a permanent full time position based in our Canterbury office.

We are looking for someone who has agility to move between a range of projects and is passionate about making a difference to our client’s lives through the professional development of our people. The role will be fast paced and include the full range of L&D activities and a partnership approach will be key to your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver interactive and engaging learning and development programs both face to face and using blended delivery methods
  • Develop and undertake assessment processes and tools that meet relevant LWB policy and/or regulatory requirements
  • Actively engage stakeholders to respond to local and state learning needs of VIC employees
  • Contribute to the end-to-end management of L&D administration functions including scheduling of programs and L&D events, program evaluation and feedback, and data analysis and reporting
  • Actively work with the L&D Lead to evaluate and implement relevant L&D policies, practices and systems
  • Support state and national L&D projects as required

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in adult education, organisational development, human services or other relevant field OR significant demonstrated experience in a role where learning and development is the core activity
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating/training to diverse client groups including e-learning
  • Experience in instructional design and management of LMS systems
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, consulting and interpersonal skills
  • Current VIC Driver’s Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
