Life Without Barriers is a leading social purpose, not for profit organisation of 7,500 employees working in more than 440 communities across Australia. We support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness. We work with people who are homeless and refugees and asylum seekers.
We want to employ people who reflect the diversity of our clients to ensure we can support each client's individual needs and wants. We encourage people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background and people with disability to apply.
While working locally with our disability services teams in Alice Springs, this role is additional due to growth and is part of a national L&D team which is committed to creating innovative solutions to business problems by growing the capability of our people.
We are looking for someone who has agility to move between a range of projects and is passionate about making a difference to our client’s lives through the professional development of our people. The role will be fast paced and include the full range of L&D activities and a partnership approach will be key to your success.
If you are not a local to Alice Springs but you like exploring and love the outdoors, this could be the great escape from the rat race you have been looking for. You can enjoy trips to Uluru, camel back riding and discover the rich history in the red centre all whilst doing what you do best as an L&D professional.
This may be a big move for you, so we are offering a 12-month contract and assistance in relocation to help settle you in.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Ochre Card (where relevant to the role).
Include your resume and covering letter in one document, click ‘Apply Now’ and follow the prompts. For any enquiries including persons with disability that require adjustments, contact Mikaella Latimore at [email protected], using the subject line: Learning & Development Advisor - Alice Springs enquiry via EthicalJobs.
