We support children, young people and families, people with disability, older people and people with mental illness. About the role

Life Without Barriers supports our ageing community to remain living independently within their own home. Home Care Workers at Life Without Barriers work as a team to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes for clients.

Key Responsibilities  

• Provide quality direct support to clients in line with their individual Care Plan by assisting with client personal care needs and/or domestic assistance.
• Support client’s skills, independence, and personal growth
• Establish a rapport and collaborate effectively with clients and their carers
• Attend, participate and contribute to team meetings and supervision meetings
• Maintain and update professional skills by actively participating in training opportunities
• Assist clients to access their community 

Skills & Experience  

• Current, Australian full Drivers’ License plus a registered and insured vehicle
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificates 

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
