About the role

Supporting the Northern Territory you will provide specialist financial and commercial decision making support & analysis. Strong analytical skill and commercial acumen with a partnership approach will be key to your success. You will be joining a national finance team in a business partnership model.  This is a permanent full time position, location flexible. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting company analyses in order to formulate reports and recommendations
  • Providing historical analysis and trend forecasts
  • Analysing, evaluating and reporting the commercial viability of various business proposals
  • Providing objective and relevant market analysis and modelling to support the development of budgets and business plans
  • Developing and delivering customised client reporting in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Providing commercial decision making support
  • Coordinate forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Advise on the financial implications of management decisions, ensuring decisions and proposed activities are commercially responsible and financially sound

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary level qualifications in Finance or Accounting discipline
  • Member of CPA Australia or Institute of Chartered Accountants or equivalent
  • Experience as a Finance Business Analyst demonstrating strong commercial acumen and high level business analytical skills
  • Have a partnership approach and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
